The British police arrested two more people in a lorry in the case of the 39 dead Chinese. According to the police, the 38-year-old man and the woman of the same age are accused of trafficking and manslaughter in 39 cases. The two were arrested in Warrington, northern England.
The previously arrested driver of the truck, in which the bodies had been found, remained under suspicion of murder and remained in custody, the police said. The warrant for his arrest had been extended on Thursday.
