Flensburg remain undefeated in the Champions League

German handball champion SG Flensburg-Handewitt remains unbeaten in the group stage of the Champions League after the fourth matchday.

In In a contested game against Croatian champions RK Zagreb, coach Maik Machulla's team, most recently weakening in the Bundesliga, came to a 20:17 (10:10). With 7: 1 points Flensburg took over the lead in the group A.


In the Flens Arena, runner Johannes Golla was the most successful pitcher of the hosts with five goals, currently only third in the Bundesliga and already eliminated in the DHB Cup by the surprise team TSV Hannover-Burgdorf.
