After five months, Caligari Film has completed the filming of the remake of PAN TAU as a high-end series for the international market. PAN TAU is played by the successful English wizard and comedian Matt Edwards. The remake of the 7-part series was developed by Gabriele Walther and Marcus Hamann. The scripts were written in collaboration with an English-speaking author team. The director Franziska Meyer Price has launched the series and has taken over the direction with 5 episodes, as a further director Michael Zens has been committed.

The series was shot mostly in Bavaria and in English. From the German side play u.a. Armin Rohde, Katharina Wackernagel, Helmfried von Lüttichau, Sophie von Kessel, Valerie Niehaus and Bettina Lamprecht. Over 50 English actors have participated in the implementation, including Niamh McGrady ("The Fall"), Olivia Caffrey ("Oliver Twist", "Love and Rage"), Jan Anderson ("Three Days Blind", "Prison Break"), Orlando Seale ("Pride and Prejudice", "Sleepy Hollow), Jack Kane (The A List), Megan Richards (Wanderlust), Jasmin Jobson (Top Boy) and Jacob Avery (Dark Heart).
PAN TAU is a production of the Caligari Film in coproduction with WDR / MDR for the ARD, funded by the GMPF, the FFF Bayern, the Filmstiftung NRW and the MFG Baden-Württemberg and is based on that of Ota Hofman and Jindřich Polák created original figure "Pan Tau".
