After the tenth season started in early October, the eleventh season has now been confirmed. Showrunner Angela Kang has already become a popular returnee.
After Maggie disappeared in Season 9, many spectators wondered about the sudden departure. Now, however, it was revealed in the context of the announcement of Season 11 that Cohan and thus Maggie will return to the series again. Showrunner Angela Kang is pleased to welcome Lauren Cohan back to the show. However, the creators are about to embark on a creative rollercoaster ride in the next few months.
But there is not only good news. Although Maggie returns, for Michonne leaves gradually the series. Actress Danai Gurira will only be seen occasionally in Season 11. However, it will not be such a sudden farewell as with Maggie or main character Rick Grimes. Season 11 is expected to start in the fall of 2020.
